New British car company Eterniti Motors has shown off its first model, the Hemera, at the Frankfurt motor show.
The Hemera, which Eterniti refers to as a ‘the world’s first super-SUV’, will go into production next year.
Although few technical details have been released ahead of the car’s launch in Frankfurt, the images suggest the SUV is based on the Porsche Cayenne platform. It will have more than 620bhp on tap and have a top speed in excess of 180mph.
It is expected to have a price tag of about £150,000. The underpinnings will undergo a chassis-up rebuild, with a new, repackaged interior, carbon-composite body panels and additional performance.
Hand-built in London, it will feature a limousine-like rear cabin, including twin electric reclining seats, iPads and a drinks chiller, and be geared towards chauffeur-driven luxury transportation. Eterniti intends for the 4x4 machine to also have driver appeal and practicality, and not just have limousine-style qualities.
