A BMW Performance concept car based on the new 1-series has been unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show.
The BMW Performance Accessories concept has been conceived in conjunction with the Munich company’s M division to highlight BMW’s range of enhanced kit. It has appear alongside the production version of BMW’s new 1-series.
The concept features 19-inch alloy wheels, uprated suspension and brakes and tweaked exhaust parts. It also boasts an aggressive bodykit, striped decals, carbonfibre wing mirror detailing and a rear diffuser.
The interior gets BMW Performance upgrades including yellow trim highlights, carbonfibre detailing, custom floor mats and leather.
BMW Performance power kits are also now available for the BMW 135i and the BMW 335i models. The products include a modified engine management system that increases the maximum output of the 3.0-litre engine by 20bhp to 326bhp.
It also bumps up torque to 317lb ft for cars with a six-speed manual transmission or 331lb ft six-speed automatic transmission or seven-speed double-clutch sports automatic transmission variants.
Finally, BMW will show off a range of new M Performance accessories for its X5 and X6 M variants at the show.
For both models, 21-inch light alloy wheels in double-spoke design, a carbonfibre front splitter and a front grille in black are now available. Interior accessories include an Alcantara-covered BMW M Performance steering wheel.
