The Problem: Visibility may become an issue for certain Outback and Legacy models manufactured from January 7, 2010 through May 20, 2011. According to Subaru, windshield wipers could become disabled if certain components inside the wiper motor system overheat.
The Fix: Subaru will start notifying owners in November, and dealers will replace the front wiper motor bottom cover on affected vehicles at no cost to the owner. The recall safety number is WVV-32, and Subaru can also be contacted at 1-800-782-2783.

2005-2006 Saab 9-2X, 2003-2008 Subaru Forester, 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza
The Problem: Certain models of the Saab 9-2X, Subaru Forester, and Subaru Impreza manufactured from September 5, 2000 through November 26, 2007 may be at risk of loss of control. Hanger brackets that are exposed to salty and humid conditions, particularly salt on icy roads, may become corroded and cause the front control arms to break.
The Fix: Subaru will begin notifying owners in November, but owners can also call Subaru at 1-800-782-2783. Dealers will either rustproof or replace the front control arms depending on the level of corrosion free of charge.
