This is the sad reality. A lot of people applied using sub labor during the June and July fiasco. A lot of people made it through the July 15th deadline by atleast filing a 140 through sub labor.
Now USCIS is processing all these 140s and as they have old dates, they are becoming approvable.
As long as there are visas with old dates approvable - USICS will exhaust them. As long as USCIS exhausts old visas, DOS need not move the dates forward.

I don't see big deal in this, just bit of information which has no consequences. Visa numbers do/will exhaust at some point in time.

Last year the H1B US MS cap wasn't over until the mid week of April and I think this year it's not going to be the same as there were a lot of missed MS applicants(I am one of them) but I don't think that the MS quota cap has no reached yet.

Can the owner of this thread please have just the following:
1. A single post containing the basic information about delivery name, address, message, occassion, and delivery date.
2. Just the poll to track the number of people who've sent flowers.
Then we should just start sending emails to friends with the link to that thread.
Please let us make this work. I will try and see if I can alert some media people about this. We need at least 100+ bouquets to make this work. Lets move fast.

What do u mean by genuine RFEs....
My RFE was to prove status from 1999 to 2003..show I-20/EAD/F1/H1 etc....
Regardless of RFEs what I meant was preadjudication is a myth....anyone can get an RFE whether he is preadjudicated or not....
U can get RFEs for the silliest of reasons...and once you get that RFE it does not matter if it is genuine or not....you have to respond and your case gets delayed.
I don't understand why members in this forum are so hopeful that if they are preadjudicated then it is a matter of time (and soon) they will get green.

1. documented / undocumented is a matter of immigration status..... no human can be illegal..... an activity can be illegal which makes a person undocumented...... as defined by human law...... but above human law there is another law..... which is defined by an entity more or less we all believe in..... how can a new born child.... a creation of the creator be illegal? delivery of a child is not just a matter of mother.... its a matter of another life being brought into this world..... how can that child be illegal?
2. even felons are not shackled to bed.... unless someone is danger to others..... how can a pregnant woman just about to deliver a child be danger to anyone else.....
3. i lost my wallet few days back.... anyone could lose their wallet sometime or the other ..... it happens..... and during that time we are all driving with a license..... does it mean we all must be shackled to bed when delivering a child......
4. unpaid driving fines?? big deal.... obama had unpaid tickets.... which were paid just before announcing presidential nomination.... majority of the people voted him to become the president..... but according to you..... its ok to shackle someone when delivering a child if that person had unpaid tickets..... nice....

No need to shout here...I know this is an educated community and I am trying to hold a logical debate. But very few posts have any logical responses. So far no convincing argument has been put forward explaining why they deserve the coveted work permits (aka Green Cards). This shows the immigration system need to be fixed to filter out such nuances.
To support my point, please see my additional posts: 101, 105,110 and 117. All responses I got were just BS, with no logic. These people know only how to talk with no action. America is a country of actions with razor sharp focus.
So my friend ,a personal advice to you: I have been following yours and others posts closely. You are wasting your time arranging all those buses and all other BS. The rally will not succeed. Just take a look how many people you have so far? Admit it you just don’t have the numbers to succeed.
Moderators/IV leadership please note that I would want to complete my series of replies and there are 10 more replies remaining. I feel that those posts are worth being replied to. I will appreciate if you will let me put my points. Thereafter, I really don't care. What irritates me the most about the GC backlog is not knowing exactly how many people are in line ahead of me.
We all know how many visas (without spillovers, etc.) are allocated to each country every year, but none of us knows exactly how many GC applications/PDs for each year are pending, which makes it extremely difficult to even semi-accurately predict when a certain PD will become current and stay current.
When I ask myself when I will get my GC, the answer is, "anywhere between the next month to the next 3 years", which is sad to say the least.
That being said, I commend the core team's efforts in pursuing this option.
I was looking at my paypal history and for some reason (problems with downloading history), was only able to see the $50 recurring contributions that I have made (I was on a $20 recurring contribution schedule before I started the $50, and I have made numerous, $50, $100 one time contributions during various funding drives) to IV, and that total was $1000 (20 months), I expect the total from all my contributions to be close to $2000.
It may sound like I am tooting my own horn, but the intention of this disclosure is to motivate other members to start contributing. There used to be a time when I felt that if I contributed, I would be the only one doing so, and things wouldn't go anywhere and I would end up wasting my money. Boy, was I wrong. There are thousands of members who contribute and it is because of the support of these very members that we have achieved what we have.
Hey, atleast this way, when I whine about the situation, no one can tell me that I should do something about it and not whine, because I have done something about it, I have contributed !!
I have had an EAD for the last two years, and it was only because of IV efforts in July 2007that I was able to get one, and ask any of the newer members that haven't filed their 485s yet, they would spend $2000 in a heartbeat if that guaranteed being able to file their 485s.
That being said, I pledge to contribute $50 for the FOIA drive as soon as an option is made available on the IV contributions page.
