For 2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport launched. It is essentially a Veyron with a removable roof panel. There are also a number of models, special edition, including two Bugatti celebrate the anniversary of 100 years. The base price Veyron has also increased $ 200,000 to 1.7 million.
2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is powered by a motor mounted centrally and quad-turbo W16 from 8.0 liters. Its 1,001 horsepower and 922 lb-ft of torque is delivered to all four wheels via a reinforced version of seven-speed Audi / VW ‘s high-speed sequential gearbox with double clutch (DSG). The automatic transmission has two modes – Normal and Sport – and could also be shifted manually with paddles on the steering wheel.
