Seat has revealed its facelifted version of the Seat Exeo saloon and ST estate.
The refreshed models feature bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights as well as new alloy wheels and improved interior materials.
Mechanically, the popular 2.0 TDI powerplant has reduced emissions, with fuel economy increased to 57.6mpg on the combined cycle. From 2012, emissions will be as low as 129 g/km CO2 when Seat’s stop-start system is introduced to the range.
Seat has also introduced a new gearbox to the Exeo range. Dubbed the ‘Multitronic’, the automatic CVT ’box offers sequential shifts via paddles on the steering wheel as well as a conventional automatic mode.
Seat UK managing director Peter Wyhinny said: “With this great new look and impressive engineering changes I’m sure the Exeo will draw the crowds to both our Frankfurt show stand and, in due course, our UK dealerships.”
The Exeo range is currently offered with three turbodiesels and one performance-orientated turbocharged petrol unit and prices start at £19,285.
