Michelin Launches New Tires With Energy Names XM2-Tire manufacturer Michelin launched its newest product called Energy XM2 in Pattaya,Thailand,last Monday. Energy XM2 claimed to have a longer durability as much as 20% better than previous models.Michelin in his press conference Tuesday,July 5,2011,mentions the tire is manufactured to meet all the needs of both riders in a city that has heavy traffic and often travel long distances between cities.

Adaptive Micro Void Optimum Compound and grooves Michelin Energy XM2 ensure the safety of motorists by reducing the risk of hydroplaning and possible loss of vehicle control.This according to Michelin tires intended for different types of vehicles including a city car,compact cars and sedans.Ban has focused on the segmentation of the tire type 14,15,and 16 inches.

XM2 Energy tires, said Michelin,have traveled 20% more shelf. It is thanks to the Alternative Technology Liaison (Briding Alternative Technology) which reinforce tread block rigidity.If the stiffness increased, then the tread block movement will be more difficult."This will reduce the rate of tire wear," writes Michelin.
Full use of silica compounds (Full Silica Compound) on these tires to reduce friction between the rubber particles thereby reducing the heat. The heat is reduced causing less energy is lost,thereby reducing fuel consumption.

Another technology is the use of compounds Adaptive Micro (Micro-Adaptive Compound). The result is tire is able to adapt better to the road surface so as to ensure a better grip.Optimum Flow Sedangka Void (Void Optimum grooves) of these tires can evacuate water to 20% more than the Michelin Energy XM1.
