Improving upon the 572-horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque produced by the twin-turbo V-10 of the Europe-only Audi RS6 sounds silly, but Sportec has done it anyway. Two of the Swiss tuner's upgrade packages are now available in the U.K., courtesy of Brackley-based APS, for sedan and wagon variants. Stage Two adds a remapped ECU and sports exhaust system. Though the upgrade list looks deceivingly small, output rises to 690-horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Those numbers will have the upgraded RS6 reaching 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and a limited top speed of 190 mph. Cost? $9800... |
