Bimmer has officially unveiled their X6 Active Hybrid which will make its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The BMW X6 Active Hybrid should arrive Stateside in the fourth-quarter of this year. The X6 Active Hybrid is a monster: powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 gas engine that develops 400 hp and two electric motors that output 91 hp and 86 hp. In total, that's around 480 hp and 575 lb-ft. of torque. With this powertrain the BMW X6 Active Hybrid is said to be able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds and to go on until it reaches its electronically-limited top speed of 130 mph.
